The project originated from the need to completely redesign the showroom of EKU Profilati, a company specializing in high-quality profiles for doors and windows.
The existing space felt outdated, poorly lit, and unable to properly showcase the quality of the products. It failed to reflect the company’s core values — innovation, technical precision, and reliability.
The intervention involved a full spatial redesign, preserving key functional areas: bar, meeting area, conference space, and product display, while completely redefining the language and overall experience of the environment.

The Project
CONCEPT
Light as Structure
The project takes shape from a natural element deeply connected to the product itself: THE SUN!
Windows and doors exist to mediate the relationship between interior and exterior, to filter, modulate, and welcome light. The sun therefore becomes not only a symbolic reference, but the true generative principle of the space.
SPACE
Radial Energy
From this concept emerges a radial spatial configuration.
The “rays” of the sun are translated into display walls extending from the center outward. These elements host the frames of doors and windows, making them:
easily accessible
individually readable
yet perceivable as part of a coherent system
This creates a dynamic balance between:
solids (structural elements)
voids (glass surfaces)
allowing both a comprehensive overview and a focused, detailed observation.
Each wall also integrates shelves for technical samples and profile sections, transforming the display into both a narrative and educational experience.
THE CENTER
identity and connection
All elements converge toward the core of the showroom: a circular meeting table, both symbolic and functional focal point.
Here, the company logo is embedded into the surface, reinforcing brand identity and turning each meeting into an immersive experience.
This central position allows a 360° perception of the entire product range: a radial overview that makes the variety and coherence of the offering immediately visible.
ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS
Entering the Technique
The perimeter walls are defined by immersive environmental graphics: enlarged technical drawings of the company’s profiles.
This distinctive feature:
immediately communicates precision and expertise
surrounds the visitor
transforms the space into an experience
The user does not simply observe the product: they are immersed in it, guided by lines, sections, and geometries that reveal the technical core of the company.
LIGHTS
Guidance and Hierarchy
The ceiling follows the same radial logic through an integrated lighting system:
directional spotlights embedded within the rays
suspended linear fixtures
a central chandelier echoing the circular geometry below
Light is designed to be simultaneously:
uniform
directional
enhancing
guiding the eye and emphasizing key elements of the display.
